Role Overview:

As the Product Marketing Manager at Orange, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our market positioning, messaging, and sales support strategies. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be the driving force behind our growth initiatives, working closely with the sales team, external partners, customers, and key stakeholders in the proptech sector. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high-growth startup, contributing to the acceleration of electric vehicle adoption.

In this role, you will:

  • Own and advance our positioning and narrative as the most reliable, affordable, zero-maintenance EV charger for multi-family homes.
  • Develop benefit-oriented messaging for different target segments, use cases, and roles. Ensure all marketing and sales materials leverage the most current and relevant messaging.
  • Continuously understand and share a deep understanding of the Orange customer’s goals, challenges, and buying behaviors. Create compelling content to speak to key personas like developers, architects, and asset managers.
  • Devise strategies and tactics to inform, educate, and advance the understanding of Orange’s value proposition to EV drivers.
  • Work with the sales team to develop impactful enablement materials and arm the team to strongly position Orange against competitors and close deals successfully.
  • Help drive top-of-funnel through in-bound and out-bound efforts, content marketing, and strategic partnerships.
  • Conduct market, competitor, and audience research to inform our product, marketing, and sales strategies
  • Create content and/or manage content freelancers to produce a variety of different types of content— blog posts, newsletters, customer stories, best practice guides, case studies, video tutorials, and more.

Skills and Experience Needed:

You have to be excited about being one of the first marketers at Orange. You must be a customer-centric marketer with a proven track record of driving growth with a sales-assisted GTM motion.

  • 3-7 years of successful product marketing experience in SaaS. Some past experience with startups in the PropTech or EV market is preferred but not required.
  • Must be customer-obsessed and bring the customer’s point of view to impact business, product, and marketing strategy.
  • Growth mindset and constantly willing to learn and grow in an ever-evolving industry.
  • Must be a storyteller at heart with proven ability to take complex, technical concepts and tell stories in a clear, concise way without being reductive.
  • Know your way around a marketing funnel and have experience working with a demand generation expert to drive growth.
  • You enjoy writing and have good instincts for what makes a good or bad piece of content.
  • Proven track record of working closely with sales to enable them to succeed, be it through marketing materials, nurture campaigns, customer stories, or events.
  • Exceptional communication chops, including strong verbal, written, and influencer skills. Sharing slide decks you’ve authored and links to published writing samples will be required.
