FAQs

EV charging rebates are incentives that help offset the cost of installing EV charging equipment at multifamily properties. Avista Energy’s EV Charging rebates provide properties served by the utility with funding for EVSE make-ready infrastructure costs.

Multifamily properties may receive up to $5,000 per EVSE for make-ready infrastructure costs, capped at 100% of dedicated installation costs. Property must use Avista certified electricians to install EVSE infrastructure. New construction is not eligible to receive this rebate.

An EVSE is a hardwired, high-power Level 2 charging unit. Most multifamily properties benefit from a mix of both EVSE and smart outlets.

Orange has committed over 10,000 chargers across multifamily properties nationwide. We assist you throughout the entire application process, from an eligibility check to the incentive application, and recommend the right charging mix for your property and portfolio.
