EV charging rebates are incentives that help offset the cost of installing EV charging equipment at multifamily properties. The City of Palo Alto’s EV charging rebates provide properties in Palo Alto with funding for EVSE installation.
Multifamily properties with 4 units or more may receive up to $8,000 per EVSE, capped at 75% of total project installation costs (100% of total project installation costs for designated affordable housing sites). A maximum award of $80,000 is available per property, capped at 10 ports.
An EVSE is a hardwired, high-power Level 2 charging unit. Most multifamily properties benefit from a mix of both EVSE and smart outlets.
Orange has committed over 10,000 chargers across multifamily properties nationwide. We assist you throughout the entire application process, from an eligibility check to the incentive application, and recommend the right charging mix for your property and portfolio.
