EV charging rebates are incentives that help offset the cost of installing EV charging equipment at multifamily properties. Georgia Power’s EV charging rebates provide properties in Georgia with funding for EVSE hardware and installation.
Multifamily properties may receive up to $5,000 per EVSE, capped at 50% of total project costs. The maximum award per property is $50,000, the maximum annual award per portfolio is $150,000. Property must be serviced by Georgia Power.
An EVSE is a hardwired, high-power Level 2 charging unit. Most multifamily properties benefit from a mix of both EVSE and smart outlets.
