FAQs

EV charging rebates are incentives that help offset the cost of installing EV charging equipment at multifamily properties. San Joaquin Valley APCD’s Charge Up! rebates provide properties in the San Joaquin Valley with funding for EVSE installation.

Multifamily properties may receive up to $5,000 per single-port EVSE and $6,000 per dual-port EVSE. The maximum award per property is $50,000 each year. Chargers must be publicly accessible, and the property must be located within the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District.

An EVSE is a hardwired, high-power Level 2 charging unit. Most multifamily properties benefit from a mix of both EVSE and smart outlets.

Orange has committed over 10,000 chargers across multifamily properties nationwide. We assist you throughout the entire application process, from an eligibility check to the incentive application, and recommend the right charging mix for your property and portfolio.
